A festive putting into operation of the water supply network in the village of Konculj, municipality of Bujanovac, the construction of which cost the total of 21.4 million dinars. The Coordination Body provided 45% of the funds for the project, the USAID 40%, while the remaining 15% of the necessary finacial resources were supplied by inhabitants of the village of Konculj.
READ MORENenad Djurdjevic, Director of the Coordination Body for South Serbia, participated today in the opening ceremony of the third international agriculture fair in Bujanovac. Over 60 producers of agricultural produce, foodstaffs and farming equipment both from the country and abroad will participate in the fair, which will take place from April 7 to 9, 2008. Apart from the Preševo and Bujanovac Development Agency (PBDA), the holding of the fair was supported by the USAID Mission’s Economic Security Program.

The funds for construction and reconstruction of one part of the border crossing was donated by the EU, through the European Agency for Reconstruction, while the Serbian government provided the remaining funds. The performance of the first stage of the works, the value of which is around five million euros, is going to last 14 months.

READ MOREMr. Dragan Lazic, Deputy President of the CBPBM, visited the municipalities of Bujanovac and Presevo. He had meetings in Bujanovac with Mr. Nagip Arifi, Mayor of Bujanovac, Mr. Adnon Salihu, President of the Municipal Assembly in Bujanovac, Mr. Dragan Velickovic, Commander of the Bujanovac police Station, and with members of the "Together for Bujanovac" Coalition Mr. Stojance Arsic, Mr. Miroslav Taskovic and Mr. Goran Taskovic. He also had meetings in Presevo with Mr. Ragmi Mustafa, Mayor of Presevo and with Dr. Skender Destani, Leader of Democratic Union of the Valley.
