“The Future“ NGO from Veliki Trnovac once again bedazzled the Bujanovac audience with its members’ creative skills. Last Friday, young members of the said organization performed the “Our Home” play to the audience for the first time.

READ MOREBujanovac – Several ambassadors to Serbia visited the “Jug” army base, which is situated near Bujanovac, with the aim of familiarizing themselves with development plans for that army complex, which is going to become a training center for those participating in peace missions. Zoran Jeftic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Defense and Head of the Team for Coordinating the Activities for Development of the “Jug” Army Base, said that training capacities of the base would be increased primarily for national needs.
READ MOREPresevo – In the period from the end of this April until now, de-miners found and destroyed 25 cluster bombs in the territory of the village of Bustranje, said yesterday Emil Jeremic, Director of the “Norwegian People’s Aid” office in Serbia. He said that since April 29, 2011, de-miners checked almost 100,000 m2 of land near the village of Bustranje. A total of 194,804 m2 of land near the village of Bustranje, which is mostly used for farming, should be examined.

The training was focused on the organizations whose projects deal with and address the issues of the young.
READ MOREVranje – In the first three months of this year, businessmen from the Pcinj district exported and imported goods and services valued at the total of 67 million US dollars. When it comes to foreign trade, a surplus of six million dinars was produced, while most of the region’s foreign trade, around 85 per cent of it, was conducted by the city of Vranje. In the first quarter of the year, Vranje’s companies exported to foreign countries the goods and services valued at almost 31 million dinars, which is almost by one half more than in the same period last year. Also, their imports, which amounted to 25 million US dollars, were by 20 per cent greater than the last year’s ones. Actually, businessmen from Bujanovac were the only businessmen in the region that exported by one fourth less than they had done in the previous year.

They will, now, have a better chance of getting a job at the governmental institutions. The said course in Serbian was funded by the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, whereas it was organized by the “International Human Center” NGO. The latter organization said that it would also organize a course in Serbian for the Albanians employed at both public and private companies. According to the data, the people were extremely interested in the said course, so that 120 Albanians registered to do it, even though only 90 persons could take it.

The project was funded by the Coordination Body, whereas it was implemented by the “International Human Center” organization from Presevo. The three – month course in Serbian was attended by 90 persons, primarily by secondary school pupils and university students.
