Milan Prostran, Secretary of the Farming Association within the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC), said that Serbia should maintain the production of tobacco, since it was lucrative from an economic point of view. He said that top-quality tobacco was manufactured in Serbia and that the entire annual output of tobacco could be exported.

Belgrade – The Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja was established in Bujanovac on December 16, 2000. It was set up during a joint session of the governments of the FRY and the Republic of Serbia, with the aim of ensuring safety and security, while its current goal is to provide a better quality of life in that part of Serbia.
