Bujanovac – Elementary school "Branko Radicevic" in Bujanovac has become part of the "Healthy Growing – Up" project, which is implemented by the Alliance for School Sports of Serbia and the "Nestle" company.
"The goal of the project is to educate students about the importance of proper nutrition and regular physical activities. It covers seventh graders. They will, through four workshops, and with the assistance of Lidija Nedic and Tatjana Trajkovic, acquire the basic knowledge about proper nutrition, its planning and the impact of food on the body. Students will also get practical advice on how to apply their newly acquired knowledge in everyday life, "said Gordana Zlatkovic, the school principal.
The project is sponsored by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, while it is implemented in all schools in Serbia.
