Bujanovac – Due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, experts advise us to spend our vacations in Serbia, while the Ministry of Tourism has provided additional 400,000 vouchers for more affordable summer vacations. Both students and those who receive less than 70,000 dinars per month can apply for them.
Rasim Ljajic, the Minister of Tourism, said that thanks to 400,000 new vouchers, the season would be extended and would surely last until the end of the year, as well as that the extent of people who could apply had been increased.
Namely, so far, only those with a salary of up to 60,000 dinars could apply for the vouchers, while limit has, now, been raised to 70,000 dinars. This year, vouchers are also available to students, and they need a certificate from a higher education institution and a photocopy of their university student’s booklet.
Students will not be able to use vouchers in the places they come from, nor in the places where they study, since the goal is to get them to know Serbia.
A list of 1,500 caterers and hoteliers who receive guests with vouchers is already available on the Ministry's website, while Minister Ljajic invited other caterers and hoteliers to join the list and thereby extend it.
All natural beauties and potentials will be presented through the tourist campaign "Choose your Adventure, See Serbia", while the information on applying is available here .
