Medvedja – Nebojsa Jaksic, the Head of the Cultural Center in Medvedja, signed with the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia agreements on co-financing of three projects in the field of culture, a total value of which is 1,350,000.00 dinars.

One of the projects is "Music in South Serbia – Medvedja – Season 2018", which provides for organizing concerts of classical, pop, jazz, evergreen and spiritual music in this municipality in October and November, while the value of the project is 800 thousand dinars. 

When it comes to the field of immaterial cultural heritage, 300 thousand dinars were earmarked for the project of doing a research on and documenting the custom called "St. George’s Day in the Region of Upper Jablanica." The project will be implemented in the period from the end of August until the beginning of November this year.

In the field of children's creativity, 250 thousand dinars were earmarked for the project of organizing children’s theatrical and drawing and painting workshops entitled “A New Hope for Medvedja.” The project will be implemented in the period from the end of August to the beginning of November this year.
