Vranje, Presevo – Based on the latest testing of 41 samples, it was determined that four people had contracted the corona virus, two from Vranje and Presevo each.

The number of coronavirus patients in the area of Pcinj district is stagnant. This can be seen not only by the number of new patients, but also by the number of patients in COVID surgeries and by those admitted to hospitals.

The epidemiological situation remains stable and is under the control of the health service. The number of coronavirus patients ranges from 5 to 10 percent, epidemiologist Dr. Sladjan Stankovic from the Institute of Public Health told the media.

He also said that citizens must constantly adhere to all prevention measures in order to maintain the stability that had been achieved and thus prevent getting sick. 

“An indicator of the stability of the epidemiological situation is the fact that there are no deaths and no bronchopneumonia cases. There are also a small number of hospitalized patients, who mostly have milder forms of infection. There are no patients who are referred to the Clinical Center in Nis ", Dr. Stankovic pointed out.

Six patients were released from the hospitals of the Health Center in Vranje for home treatment, so that there are currently 154 free beds.

26 patients were hospitalized, of whom 16 were positive for coronavirus. There are no children among those taken care of.
