Medvedja – The disinfection of public areas and streets was carried out once again in the territory of the municipality of Medvedja.  However, this time, the Army of Serbia provided assistance and used its vehicles and personnel to disinfect the public areas and streets of the municipality with sodium hypochlorite solution.    

“The Army of Serbia provided a great assistance to the municipality of Medvedja, which, like other local self-governments, is fighting against an invisible enemy and preventing the spread of the coronavirus. We are grateful to the Army of Serbia and to the Niš Army Command, as well as to the Army Commander General Simovic, for the assistance they are providing to our municipality in these difficult times. The gratitude is even greater as the Army of Serbia will continue to disinfect public areas in the territory of the municipality of Medvedja, "said the Deputy Chief of the Emergency Management Staff Goran Ivanovic.

He once again asked all the citizens of the municipality of Medvedja to stay at home and comply with the measures of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the President of the country.
