Leskovac – The youth project "Development of Youth Entrepreneurship in Rural Areas" was presented on the premises of the Leskovac Youth Club.
The project is implemented by the association "Youth Forces Movement" from Lebane, while its partners are the Youth Offices from Lebane, Bojnik and Medvedja and the National Employment Office. The project is funded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia.
Ivan Jovic, the project coordinator, said that the project was implemented as part of the call for programs and projects aimed at achieving the goals of the national youth strategy.
As part of the project, the “Guide to a Successful Start of Business” was prepared, which provides to the young the basic information necessary to start a business. The said guide was published in both the Serbian and Roma languages.
Aleksandra Stankovic, from the Centre for Good Business Management, said that training courses would be held until May.
"The first part of training relates to business development, where our goal is to inform the young about the start of their businesses, preparation of their business plans and of everything else that is necessary in the beginning. We will, thereupon, have the training on the development of rural tourism, where we will talk about the regulations, opportunities and funds, whereas we will finally organize a training course in organic farming. Since the Radan region has favorable conditions for the development of organic farming, a few training courses on that subject matter will be held, too. The young aged from 15 to 30 may participate in the program“.
