Based on many years of experience in working with the most vulnerable categories of the population, A 11 – the Initiative for Economic and Social Rights recognized the need to establish an online platform that would enable the collection and exchange of information on the position and needs of members of the most vulnerable groups and individuals in Serbia, and then launched the "Notify" platform, which would provide an opportunity to consolidate all the aforementioned information, so that the help that was most necessary to the most vulnerable persons reached them as quickly as possible.

The "Notify" platform will provide an opportunity for communication between organizations, volunteer groups, donors and individuals who are familiar with specific problems in the field faced by various vulnerable groups (residents of informal settlements and collective centers, homeless people and individual households), so that information on the needs of the vulnerable could be exchanged, and assistance to those in need provided in a timely manner.

In mutual communication, the users of the "Notify" platform will be able to get acquainted with the needs of each individual group entered in the database of the platform for the purpose of making the distribution of the available assistance possible in the best manner and in accordance with the current situation in the field or the degree of urgency and vulnerability of all vulnerable groups.

Upon registering and communicating the data on a vulnerable group or individual, each user of the platform can see the needs of different categories of the population, classified by cities and the degree of urgency, or enter the data that he/she has come across, which indicate the vulnerability of a particular group. With the help of the map of the Republic of Serbia, which is also on the platform, users will be able to determine the exact position of the endangered settlement or household.

A 11 – the Economic and Social Rights Initiative calls on all stakeholders involved in providing assistance or information on the vulnerability of these categories of the population to enter the data they have in the platform’s data base, so that a single list could be built over time, which would be updated daily in accordance with the existing needs and which would help to exchange information in a timely manner, as well as ensure that the vulnerability of vulnerable groups was properly identified.
