ONLINE VOLUNTEERS (Deadline: June 1, 2020)

Online volunteers are young people who want to support their peers during home isolation due to the pandemic and help them with proven information, advice and beyond.

Online volunteers are young people who want to support their peers during home isolation due to the pandemic and help them with proven information, advice and beyond.

Youth are key partners of UNICEF when it comes to educating their peers on how to protect themselves from the COVID-19 coronavirus, how to recognize and respond to digital violence, xenophobia, stigma and discrimination, and how to protect mental health during the pandemic.

Therefore, online volunteers will be divided into several groups, and for the time being two areas are open:

– An online information campaign

– Better education and reduction of the language barrier that exists for some young people.

The initiative runs through June 1, 2020, while the CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS is open on https://bit.ly/VolonteriNaMrezi!

Team online meetings and first assignments start when the first group is formed, which is going to be as early as next week!

All young people are invited to volunteer online and contribute during home isolation and after the crisis.

For more information, please contact the UNICEF Youth Program (jristic@unicef.orgaandjelic@unicef.org).
