Source: Dnevnik  / Verica Kalanovic, Minister for Regional Development and Local Self-Government, visited Bujanovac last Friday and said that the government was ready to face a number of problems and that it recognized the importance of establishing trust with the Albanian minority. The Minister also attended a two-day conference "Bujanovačka agora", which was organized by the Centre for Regionalism, the event that the USAID funded through the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC).

Speaking at the "Bujanovačka agora" conference, Minister Kalanovic announced the imminent completion of the section of the highway that passes by Bujanovac.  

”Corridor 10 is a development opportunity for a multi-ethnic environment such as Bujanovac. In the world, a road map is simultaneously a map of development. Bujanovac and this region must resolve their economic difficulties through Corridor 10 and through a larger number of employees, since the future highway will bring new investments and new jobs here, "Ms. Kalanovic said.

It is expected that the new jobs will contribute to the normalization of inter-ethnic relations, and that economic development will terminate the current practice, according to which primarily young people use the very Corridor 10 to leave Bujanovac.
