During a tour of the "Cakanovac" facility near Presevo, the Commander of the Joint Police and Army Forces Brigadier General Dejan Jankovic informed the Defense Minister that the situation in all sectors in the area of responsibility of the Joint Forces was regular and that all planned tasks were being executed.
“The security situation is stable and there are currently not any indications that there is a threat to the safety and property of our citizens, which does not mean that the Army, Police and other security agencies do not follow up the situation. We continuously monitor the situation and adjust the engagement of our forces accordingly, "said Minister Djordjevic.
Following a tour of the state border with Macedonia, Minister Djordjevic and his colleagues visited members of the Army of Serbia at the “Jug” base.
