Vranje – A mini employment fair for Roma was organized in the square near the monument to Uncle Mita, by which the project called "Increasing the Employability of Young Roma Men and Women through a Business Simulation Model and Improving Business Skills" was completed.

Due to the epidemiological situation, the stands were exhibited by only a few companies, while the visitors had the opportunity to get acquainted with the employment requirements and the type of jobs offered.

“I am extremely satisfied with the implementation of this project, which will make it possible for members of the Roma national minority to participate more actively in the local community. 120 young Roma from Vranje and Vranjska Spa have completed trainings for various occupations, which has enabled them to perform various jobs, and thus increased the possibility of their employment, "said city councilor Dejan Ivanovic.

The value of the project is 62,000 euros, of which 52,000 euros is the amount of donors, while the city's share in the project is 10,000 euros. The project was funded by the EU with the support of the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities.
