Bujanovac – Members of engineer units for multinational operations of the Army of Serbia and engineers of the European Army Command successfully completed a joint training at the “Borovac” training ground and the "Vrtogos" shooting range, which was aimed at making our soldiers competent in operating the military devices that would be donated to them. 

29 members of the Serbian and 19 members of the US Army participated in non-combat troop training with the aim of training members of the Serbian Armed Forces for participating in peacekeeping missions, as well as for additional training of members of the Serbian Army for operating the US military devices that should be donated by the American side by the end of 2017.

Namely, the Serbian Army will receive 5 engineering devices and 2 motor vehicle tippers. 

The said joint training is a continuation of cooperation of engineer units of the Army of Serbia and the Engineering Battalion of the US Armed Forces that started last year, the primary aim of which is to improve key skills of the Engineering Company and gain experience while working in the international military environment.

Scheduled for May 2017 is continuation of the joint training or deployment of some members of the declared Engineering Company of the Army of Serbia in the Republic of Germany, where the Engineering Battalion from the composition of the European command of the US Army is stationed.
