Medvedja – Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja, and his associates had a meeting with representatives of the German Organization for Technical Cooperation – GIZ.

The German Organization for Technical Cooperation – GIZ is an organization that operates throughout the world as part of international cooperation with the aim of ensuring sustainable development. GIZ offered to the municipality of Medvedja promising solutions for political, economic, ecological and social development. Emphasis was placed on the employment of young people of all nationalities, while the first concrete activity would be providing the necessary beekeeping equipment to young beekeepers from Medvedja.

Also, the Regional Employment Plan for the municipalities of Medvedja, Lebane and Bojnik is being prepared. The municipality of Medvedja appointed members of the Working Group and members of the Council for the Development of the Plan. The activities related to the project are in progress, while also planned is additional training or retraining of young people to help them find work and met to the requirements of employers.
