Medvedja – In the previous period, the local self-government of the municipality of Medvedja issued a call for awarding student scholarships to secondary school students for the period 2020/2021, which was intended for secondary school students who reside in Medvedja and attend one of the secondary schools in the municipalities of Medvedja, Leskovac and Lebane.

The funds for 60 scholarships were allocated from the budget of the Coordination Body’s Office of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja in the amount of 1,440,000.00 dinars.

Following the completion of the call, the commission that decided on scholarship applications made a preliminary ranking list, and after the deadline for objections, the final ranking list was published on the official website of the municipality of Medvedja, as well as on the bulletin board of the secondary technical school "Nikola Tesla" in Medvedja.

The scholarships will be paid to students for the months of September, October, November and December 2020, and if funds are provided in the budget for 2021, they will be paid continuously until the end of the 2020/2021 school year.
