Vranje, Bujnaovac – The civic association "Nexus -Vranje" is implementing a project entitled "Life without Violence-for Every Child", which is part of a larger project entitled "Protection of Children from Violence and Promotion of Social Inclusion of Children with Disabilities in the Western Balkans and Turkey". The project is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the UNICEF, with financial support from the European Union.

The campaign is implemented in 20 municipalities in Serbia, while the coordinator of the campaign is the Uzice Center for Child Rights and other municipalities and cities participating in the program, which include the city of Vranje and the municipality of Bujanovac.

As part of the project and the aforementioned campaign, a play was performed at the “Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj” elementary school in Vranje. Vesna Stankovic, a teacher at the said school, says that the campaign is dedicated to a life without violence, and that is very important because it teaches children about what mechanisms there are in school and the city to protect them from violence.

Vesna Prodanovic, a Serbian language teacher, who, along with the children, prepared the play, says that the play deals with the solving of violent situation cases, and that the children gave their maximum contribution to the realization of the play.  Ilija Stamenkovic, one of the students who took part in the play, sent a clear message that violence was not good and that it should be stopped.
