UN Provides Support for Development of Southern Serbian Municipalities
The municipalities and cities of Jablanica and Pcinj Districts are going to get half a million US dollars from the UN Peace-Building and Inclusive Local Development (PBILD) Program, which is implemented through the UN in South Serbia, it was said in Lebane yesterday.

Representatives of Youth Offices from the southern and south-eastern part of Serbia stayed in Zrenjanin over the past few days. They were on a study visit there, which was organized as part of the OSCE Mission to Serbia’s program, which refers to providing support to the young from the municipalities with ethnic minority communities. So far, the young from Dimitrovgrad, Bujanovac, Bosilegrad and Presevo have visited Sermski Karlovci, Kikinda, Senta, Sombor, Backi Petrovac and Zrenjanin.

Milan Markovic, Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and President of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, along with representatives of the Serbian and Albanian political parties, is going to sign the Agreement on Establishment of the Multiethnic Government in Bujanovac at the Bujanovac Press Center at 11 am on Thursday, October 21, 2010. The signing of the Agreement will be followed by a press-conference.

Sombor – During a three-day visit to Sombor, eighteen young people from Presevo and Bosilegrad, who are from 17 to 23 years old, were educated about gender equality and youth activities.
