Svetozar Ciplic, Minister of Human and Minority Rights, said yesterday in Bujanovac that the issue of recognizing Pristina University diplomas was one of the key issues that the Albanian National Council and the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights would be dealing with.

„We must do everything possible to intensify the search for a solution, because we would thereby resolve the existence of Albanians with university education“, Minister Ciplic said.

Thomas Moore, Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, said during his visit to Bujanovac that over the next four years, the Albanian National Council would be dealing with the issues that hadn’t been addressed for a long time.

Minister Ciplic and Mr. Moore talked about the aforementioned topic, as well as about the other issues regarding the operation of the recently established Albanian National Council, with Galip Beciri, President of the Albanian National Council.

Mr. Moore voiced satisfaction over the establishment of multiethnic government in Bujanovac, which is going to be set up upon negotiations that lasted for two years.

„The OSCE Mission to Serbia expects that the multi ethnic government would be composed in such a way that it reflects the ethnic make-up of the municipality”
