Bujanovac – For all-day stay of a child at a preschool institution "Our joy" in Bujanovac, parents monthly pay two thousand and 600 dinars for the first child, 20 percent less for the second child, or two thousand and 80 dinars, while the stay of the third child, if the first two go to kindergarten, is free of charge, said the teacher of this institution Vesna Aleksic.

For the third child, if only that child is enrolled in kindergarten, the price is one thousand and 300 dinars, and for the fourth and each subsequent child the stay is free of charge.

For children of single parents and users of financial assistance, the amount is reduced by 50 percent, so that parents pay 1,300 dinars, while the children of invalids of war, those without parental care and those with disabilities attend the kindergarten for free.

The price of a half-day stay is 900 dinars, while the price of an all-day stay of preschoolers is 2080 dinars.

The Bujanovac preschool institution "Our Joy" is the only specialized institution in the municipality, whose main activity is the social care of children of preschool age.

It is the first and very important link in the system of education and upbringing of children.

It provides the stay during the day of the children aged one to seven and carries out tasks within the program of educational activities, preventive healthcare and social protection of children, and conducts  a preparatory pre-school program for children in the year before they start going to school.

During this year, a total of 531 children aged from one to seven are covered by various educational forms in 43 educational groups.

The kindergarten is attended by Serbian, Albanian and Roma children.
