Bujanovac – Jonuz Musliu, the President of the Municipal Assembly of Bujanovac and of the Albanian National Council, died yesterday at a hospital in Turkey, where he was undergoing treatment.
Bujanovac – Jonuz Musliu, the President of the Municipal Assembly of Bujanovac and of the Albanian National Council, died yesterday at a hospital in Turkey, where he was undergoing treatment.
Mr. Musliu was a former political commander of the General Staff of the Liberation Army of Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac (OVPMB), while he later established the Movement for Democratic Progress (PDP).
He was born in 1959 in the village of Konculj where, at the time of the armed conflict in South Serbia, the OVPMB Headquarters were located.
He entered into political life after the first local elections in Bujanovac in 2002.
He was a longtime President of the Municipal Assembly of Bujanovac.
