Newly established entrepreneurs, agricultural farms, micro and small companies, which were established up to two years ago, as well as everyone who has an idea for their own business or for an improvement of their  business, will, as of October 24,  have incentive funds available to them  within the "Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment Promotion Program".  

The money will be available in the second phase of the implementation of the Program through loans with favorable interest rates extended by partner banks, while grants are also planned.

The program for the promotion of entrepreneurship and self-employment, adopted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, is a comprehensive support to and a strong development incentive for the Serbian economy.

The program is implemented by the Office for Public Investment Management in cooperation with the Development Fund of the Republic of Serbia and with the expert support of the German Development Bank (KfW). The Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, a partner in the implementation of the Program, is entrusted with the implementation of professional and educational training, as well as with mentoring and counseling of the applicants.

The program includes all key aspects of support necessary for the success of start-up projects – a five-day training for the development of business-investment plan, favorable bank loans extended by commercial banks, project partners, a guarantee for the loans from partner banks and grants to the beneficiaries who successfully repay the loan in the amount of up to 20 percent of the total investment, which is financed under the Program, as well as mentoring and advising.
