ILIR META: RIGHTS OF ALBANIANS TO BE SOLVED IN COOPERATION WITH SERBIAN INSTITUTIONS

Bujanovac, Tirana  – The Albanians living in Serbia should solve the problems related to their minority rights in cooperation with the official Serbian institutions, said Ilir Meta, the President of Albania, while talking with Jonuz Musliu. 

Bujanovac, Tirana  – The Albanians living in Serbia should solve the problems related to their minority rights in cooperation with the official Serbian institutions, said Ilir Meta, the President of Albania, while talking with Jonuz Musliu. 

Mr. Musliu, the President of the Albanian National Council and of the Municipal Assembly of Bujanovac, met in Tirana with Ilir Meta, the newly elected President of Albania.

As reported by the"Titulli.com” portal, the Albanian President expressed maximum support to the exercising of minority rights of the Albanians, and stressed the importance of integration of the Albanians at all levels of the local and central government in Serbia.

Mr. Meta and Mr. Musliu talked about solving problems in the areas of education, employment, infrastructure and services.

Mr. Meta and Mr. Musliu agreed that the Albanians in South Serbia were a bridge between cooperation, mutual respect and observance of human rights of the peoples of the two countries.

The Albanian President met today with Ardita Sinani, the President of the municipality of Presevo, and on that occasion promised that he would wholeheartedly support and help Presevo , as well as ​​and that the support and assistance would relate to the fields of minority rights and joint investment projects.
