Bratislav Lazarevic, the Secretary of the Red Cross Office in Bujanovac, said that five trucks carrying aid for the flood-afflicted in Paracin had set off from the Red Cross warehouse in Bujanovac.
He pointed out that the collected aid included clothing for adults and children, shoes, hygiene items, canned food, water, blankets and diapers.

“A large number of people responded immediately. Apart from them, the Tobacco Industry of Bujanovac, the Veterinary Station, the “Play 17” Basketball Club, the “BSK” Volleyball Club, children from the “Our Joy” kindergarten, the Local Community of Bujanovac and the “Heba” water plant joined in the campaign”, Mr. Lazarevic said.
Mr. Lazarevic also said that another aid convoy was expected, which would most likely be sent to Trstenik later this week.
