EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS TO THE EUROPEAN PROGRES FOR PARTNERSHIP PROJECTS OF MUNICIPALITIES AND CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS

Due to a great interest in the current call for supporting projects that will be implemented in cooperation between the local self- governments and civil society organizations, which is aimed at empowering vulnerable groups of population in the southeastern and southwestern Serbia, the European PROGRES extended the deadline for submission of project proposals until 4pm on Friday, November 14, 2014.

Because of  numerous questions posed by the interested organizations, the European PROGRESS underscores that it is possible to establish partnerships between civil society organizations and non- domicile municipalities. That means that civil society organizations registered in one of the 34 municipalities included by the program of the European PROGRESS may enter into a partnership with any of these 34 local self-governments.

Detailed information on the call for proposals is available at: http://www.euprogres.org/konkursi.php?oblast=pozivi.

The 34 local self-governments  included in the European Progress Program are the following: Novi Pazar, Ivanjica, Nova Varoš, Priboj, Prijepolje, Raška, Sjenica and Tutin in South West Serbia, followed by Prokuplje, Blace, Žitorađa, Kuršumlija, Leskovac, Bojnik, Vlasotince, Lebane, Medvedja, Crna Trava, Vranje, Bosilegrad, Bujanovac, Vladičin Han, Preševo, Surdulica, Trgovište, Brus, Aleksinac, Gadžin Han, Doljevac, Merošina, Svrljig, Babušnica, Bela Palanka and Knjaževac in South East Serbia.
