Belgrade – An experimental PISA testing will begin in Serbia as early as on April 3, while the students will, for the first time, have to show how financially literate they are.

Many teachers are already concerned about the results their students will achieve at the largest and most important international testing, since the curriculum does not include financial literacy.

In order for the students to learn what loans, budgets, credit cards and bankruptcy are, as well as how to save and spend money wisely, financial literacy will be introduced in our schools.   As early as of this autumn, fifth grade students will be learning how to manage money wisely during math and technical education classes, as well as during classes in other school subjects.
