It was originally planned that the deadline for selecting the candidates would be November 15.
The notification on the selection of candidates for employers in the public sector will be published after the selection of candidates by employers in the private sector has been done, it was said in the statement issued by the National Employment Office (NEO).
The Government of Serbia launched the "My First Salary" program with the aim of encouraging training of young people and providing support to the economy by solving the problem of lack of personnel.
The program envisages a nine-month training for specific jobs, while two billion dinars have been allocated for those purposes.
As it was previously announced, 10,000 companies expressed interest and offered approximately 17,000 positions for 28,000 jobs.
