Bujanovac – Another case of the corona virus infection was recorded in Bujanovac, while the patient was hospitalized in Vranje.

Despite the new case, Dr. Daliborka Pavlovic, the Director of the Bujanovac Health Center, says that the epidemiological situation in the municipality has not changed or that, for the time being, there are no indications of the escalation of the disease.

“Yesterday, we had only nine examinations in the COVID clinic, among which there were no children. Two patients were tested and one quick test was positive, however, a patient with a negative result was also sent to the Vranje hospital, because his clinical picture required hospitalization", Dr. Pavlovic said. .

The total number of corona virus patients since the beginning of the epidemic is now 203, while six new cases were recorded in October alone.

According to the Director, the discrepancy in the official data on the number of patients in Bujanovac, published by health institutions in Vranje and the Health Center in Bujanovac, is due to the fact that a certain number of locals are tested in Vranje or Surdulica or they did not turn up at the Bujanovac COVID clinic.
