Bujanovac – According to the data of the Bujanovac Health Center, the corona virus infection was confirmed, on Monday, in 12 more residents of the municipality of Bujanovac. 

The total number of persons infected with the corona virus in the municipality since the beginning of the epidemic is now 68.

Some new patients have been hospitalized in Vranje, while there are also those with mild symptoms who are isolated at home.

According to Dr. Lela Jovanovic, the Director of the Health Center, test results for another 11 people are being awaited.

She stressed that every citizen who experiences the symptoms characteristic for the corona virus must immediately report to the COVID surgery.

“I primarily think of the elevetaed temperature. If that happens, you must see a doctor.  The citizens should not resort to being treated at home and determining the therapy themselves, but it is necessary to be examined at the COVID surgery ", Dr. Jovanovic said.

She insisted on strict adherence to the prescribed measures against the spread of the corona virus, and especially on wearing protective masks.

“I want to believe that it is now completely clear to everyone how important the mask is. That must become a habit and a daily routine ", Dr. Jovanovic said.

Due to the constant increase in the number of patients, the rehabilitation hospital in Bujanovac Spa has been a COVID hospital since yesterday, which will be receiving patients with a milder clinical picture from Bujanovac and Presevo.
