Bujanovac – Data of the Institute of Public Health show that out of 112 tested samples in the Pcinj district, another 10 people are positive for the corona virus. Of that number, 5 are newly infected persons from Vranje, 3 from Presevo, 1 person from Bujanovac and 1 from Trgoviste.
According to epidemiologist Dr. Sladjan Stankovic, the epidemiological situation is still uncertain.
The percentage of the newly infected in the Pcinj district goes up to 10 percent, which is a slightly higher number compared to the previous period, but the situation is still stable and under control.
Epidemiologist Stankovic points out that the majority of the newly infected include adult, working age population.
According to the latest data, there are 25 patients in three COVID hospitals of the Heath Center in Vranje, of whom eight patients are positive. There are no children among the hospitalized, while the current number of available beds is 155. Three patients were discharged for home treatment.
