130,000 EUR FROM GERMAN HUMANITARION ORGANIZATION “HELP”
By December 2011, the German humanitarian organization “HELP” and the city of Vranje will have supported 50 beginners in business operations or those planning to develop the already launched business operations with 130,000 EUR.

Today, the MLADGRAD award was for the first time given to local self-governments and the media for their contribution to the improvement of the position of the young in local community.
The award was given by the Civic Initiatives, as well as by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry for Public Administration and Local Self-Government. The award was given as part of marking the International Youth Day and the beginning of the year of the youth according to the UN calendar.

The solving of several great problems in the field of education is the priority of the Albanian National Council, which was recently registered at the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights. Galip Beciri from the Party of Democratic Action, which at the June 6 elections won 24 out of the total of 29 seats in the Council, was elected the first President of the Albanian national Council. Mr. Beciri said that he expected that the Council would become fully operational in September. He also expects to receive the first funds from Serbia’s budget this September. In the meantime, he will try to solve the accommodation issue, since the building that was allocated to the Council by the Bujanovac self-government should be renovated.

In addition to the talks on funding, the last week’s visit of Svetozar Ciplic, Minister for Human and Minority Rights, to the Hungarian National Council, led to an agreement on providing assistance to the Albanian National Council. Minister Ciplic and Tamas Korhec, President of the Hungarian National Council, agreed that representatives of the Hungarians should provide assistance to the Albanians from South Serbia with the aim of “putting” the newly established Council “on its feet” as smoothly as possible. Tamas Korhec said for “Dnevnik” that Minister Ciplic had launched the initiative.
