Source: Narodne novine – Nis / Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, said that a meeting with representatives of five districts (Nis, Pirot, Toplica, Jablanica and Pcinj) would take place in the coming weeks. He also added that over half of the least developed municipalities in Serbia were located in that part of the country.

This solved the problem of inadequate and temporary accommodation, which the National Council has used since its establishment, which was in June 2010, until now. The premises for the future work of the National Council were provided by the municipality of Bujanovac, while the renovation and refurbishment of the premises were carried out thanks to the National Council’s own funds. Fitting the premises out with office furniture, computers and other equipment, which amounted to nearly 10,000, was done by the European Union and the Government of Switzerland, through the European Partnership with Municipalities Program – EU PROGRES.
