    Last month, the “Jugoistok” Company sent notices prior to disconnection of electricity to the addresses of 55, 000 households and firms in the southeastern Serbia. The company notified the electric power consumers that the unsettled electricity bills had to be paid not later than Monday, November 10, 2014.

    Bujanovac – As part of the project “Serbia’s OSCE Chairmanship in 2015 and the Role of Youth”, implemented by the Serbian Youth Umbrella Organization (SYUO), workshops for and on the young were held on November 4 and 5 at the Youth Office in Bujanovac and on the premises of the “Generator” association in Vranje.  The aim of the workshops was to familiarize young people with the work of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the challenges related to the security and safety of the young, Serbia’s OSCE chairmanship in 2015, as well as to determine the role of young people in terms of the above mentioned topics.

    A multinational tactical military exercise “Platinum Wolf 15” will be held at the “Jug” military base near Bujanovac from November 17 to 28, 2014.  Participants in the said military exercise, apart from the units of the Army of Serbia, include members of the Armies of five countries – Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania, the US European Command Marines and the Gendarmerie of the Serbian Ministry of Interior.
