Medvedja – The Association of Citizens CarGo donated 1.2 million dinars to the Hilandar Monastery for the completion of works on the construction of the Friendship Camp in Sijarinska Spa, Medvedja municipality, which will have accommodation capacities for 200 children.

The Chairman of the CarGo Association of Citizens, Aleksandar Vucic, said that the Friendship Camp would be a home for all children from endangered areas and a place where they would gather, learn and disseminate humanity.

“Hilandar remains the house of humanity, and CarGo its supporting pillar", said Mr. Vucic and thanked the citizens, members of the association, who are part of this story and thanks to whom all this is possible.

He reminded that the CarGo Association had supported the traditional humanitarian  Camp of Friendship campaign the summer before, when 400 children of lower material status from the entire region stayed in Belgrade for the first time.

The commissioner of the Hilandar Monastery, Milos Stojkovic, said that he was very glad that CarGo had responded to the invitation of the monastery that time as well, and that it was thanks to good people that the Hilandar Monastery could continue its humanitarian mission throughout Serbia.

“KarGo is a role model for all other companies and associations. We will not stop, and if the others try to be like KarGo, we will be able to disseminate humanity even more, to help and put smiles on the faces of children all over Serbia, "Mr. Stojkovic said.
