Yesterday was a day of joy for 33 candidates selected during the competition of the municipality of Bujanovac, some of whom have been waiting for years for a job.
The mayor of Bujanovac, Nagip Arifi, received the young who had been selected in the competition, wishing them a warm welcome. He said that they would acquire their one-year long experience in companies and educational institutions.
The aim of this activity is to alleviate unemployment among young people and to make it possible for them to gain work experience.
Stojanca Arsic, the Deputy Mayor of Bujanovac, was also present at the meeting between the young citizens of Bujanovac and Mr. Arifi.
During the practical training, the selected candidates with a two-year post-secondary qualifications will be funded with 20 thousand dinars per month, while those with university education will be receiving 25 thousand dinars.
The municipality of Bujanovac earmarked from its budget 4 million dinars for this project, whereas due to the great interest of the young, the number of selected candidates was increased from 30 to 33.
