The National Coalition for Decentralization (NCD) and its partners, Group 484 and the Jelena Santic Foundation, invite formal and informal local initiatives working in their communities in the fields of the rule of law and cultural diversity to apply with their actions, through the promeni.rs platform, to the "Support for Community Mobilization" call, which is being conducted with the financial support of the EU Delegation to Serbia.

The partners will support up to 38 initiatives in the amount of 400 to 5,000 euros, which are focused on the specific needs of citizens in their communities in the areas of the rule of law and cultural diversity.

The project supports local actions aimed at promoting the rule of law and developing democracy. The call also supports local actions aimed at the field of cultural diversity. Support for local initiatives is, through this project, aimed at developing and defending four types of resources in the community:

– People (including information and knowledge),

– Infrastructure (old buildings and the like),

– Natural resources (rivers, mountains, forests, water, air, etc.), and

– Cultural heritage (tangible and intangible cultural heritage).

The aim of the project is to strengthen community proactivity and to support authentic local initiatives that result from the needs of citizens from different local communities in all regions of Serbia.

The project "Local Call to the EU", which is implemented by the National Coalition for Decentralization and its partners Group 484 and the Jelena Santic Foundation, strengthens local initiatives for contributing to the EU accession process, thereby creating a decentralized society that nurtures cultural diversity and participatory democracy.
