The EU Progress development program launched a campaign "Europe, It’s You" to bring closer to the youth the issues related to the European Union, European integrations, the relations between Serbia and the EU and everything that secondary school and university students could use when it comes to exchange programs and training courses abroad " said Goran Zaric, the organizer of the competition “Europe, It's You."
The schools from 34 municipalities of the southern and eastern Serbia in which the EU Progress program implements its projects participated in the competition.
Among the finalists is a team of the "Saint Sava" school from Bujanovac.
“We applied with the "Knights of Health" project, the essence of which is improvement in the quality of life of children through the nutrition program at school. Children attending classes in a catering course would prepare healthy meals that would be brought to the school and offered to the students. The students could buy them at lower prices, and then the students attending a course in economics would do a cost analysis. The students attending a medical course would hold workshops on healthy eating, not only for their peers, but also for everyone in Bujanovac, "said Ivana Mitrovic from the “Saint Sava” secondary vocational school in Bujanovac.
Two schools from each region that win the most points will receive 100 thousand dinars each for the implementation of the proposed projects, which should contribute to the improvement of student life or the quality of teaching.
