BRITISH AMBASSADOR IN SOUTH SERBIA

The British Ambassador to Serbia, Denis Keefe, met with representatives of the Albanian political parties in Bujanovac and Presevo and talked with them about the upcoming elections for the National Minority Councils. Also, Ambassador Keefe, along with the leadership of the city of Vranje, laid flowers at the memorial to Isabel Emily Hutton, a British doctor who, together with the foreign medical staff, provided medical assistance to the Serbian army and civilians in World War I. She also established the first hospital in Vranje in 1918, which was operational for exactly one year.
