Bujanovac – The local self-government is repairing the Breznica-Muhovac road, thanks to which the residents of several villages in the mountainous area will be connected to Bujanovac and smoothly supplied with groceries and medicines.

“That road was in a poor condition, so that an alternative road was used, which in one part passes through Kosovo and Metohija. Due to the situation with the corona virus, this road is no longer an option and we cannot allow any interruptions in the supply and provision of medical assistance, should there be a need for it.  That is why the Bujanovac Municipality Emergency Staff immediately responded”, said Rahim Salihi, the Head of the Municipal Development and Investment Department.

Saip Kamberi, the Emergency Staff Commander, signed a contract on the recovery of the route on Thursday, and, according to Mr. Salihi, the works have already begun.

Mr. Salihi also said that the setting up of the new 50 large garbage disposal containers in Bujanovac and Veliki Trnovac had, at the request of the Staff, also began on Thursday and that it would continue during the day.
