Bujanovac – Prior to the Humanitarian Bazaar, which will be held in the square in Bujanovac on Monday, October 12, Miroslav Velickovic, who is better known as the Village Poet, emerged with the desire to help children suffering from cancer.
He will give the organizers the original jerseys of the Football Club Red Star, but also those of the local Futsal Club Zufo.
“The jerseys are almost new and I received them as a gift from those clubs. I give them away because I know how much each dinar means to children with cancer ", says Mr. Velickovic.
He suffered from leukemia as a boy, but was successfully cured.
The humanitarian bazaar is organized by a group of teachers from the secondary vocational school "St. Sava", and the idea is for students and citizens to offer their clothes for sale.
The organizer should decide which child will be paid all the proceeds from the sale.
