Bujanovac – Bujanovac has once again become a refuge for refugees from the Middle East, as about 270 migrants, who had been transported from Sombor, arrived at the building of the former "Svetlost" factory.
The migrants arrived in several buses and under police escort, while the reason for the relocation of the migrants from the northern to the southern part of the country is unknown.
The convoy was organized by the Commissariat for Refugees of Serbia.
The vast majority of refugees are from Syria, but there are also refugees from other countries, such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, etc.
The Reception Center in the "Svetlost" factory was closed for several months, officially due to renovations.
