The Director of the Health Center, Dr. Lela Jovanovic, said that most of the new patients were from Bujanovac and the Klenike area.
At the same time, test results for 33 people are awaited.
Dr. Jovanovic explained the record increase in the number of infected people in 48 hours by the faster arrival of test results, because the laboratory where samples from the Bujanovac Health Center were sent was changed.
She repeatedly mentioned that we should have reservations about the data on the number of new patients or that it was certain that there were more new patients than what the Health Center could officially confirm, because not all citizens with symptoms reported to the local COVID surgery.
In July alone, 65 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the municipality.
