Bujanovac, Vranje – From June 13 to 16, 18 newly infected with the corona virus persons were registered in the Pcinj district, one of whom was from Bujanovac.
The Institute of Public Health says that sixteen people from Vranje and one person from Surdulica have been infected, the South Serbia News reports.
During this period, a total of 165 people were tested, while the latest data worried the authorities, so that due to the information that there were 18 newly infected persons out of 165 tested, the Institute assessed the epidemiological situation in Vranje as "unsafe".
81 patients are being treated in two COVID hospitals, while according to the epidemiologists, severe pneumonia cases have been recorded, too.
Over the previous 2 days, swabs were taken from 174 people, among which control swabs prevailed.
