Source: Danas / Belgrade – A new generation of interns in state institutions was presented yesterday at the Palace of Serbia. Twelve young members of the Albanian, Bosnian and Roma ethnic minorities will spend the next six months at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, Ministry of Culture and Information, the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society and the Office for Human and Minority Rights.

Twelve young members of the Albanian, Bosnian and Roma ethnic minorities will spend the next six months at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, Ministry of Culture and Information, the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society and the Office for Human and Minority Rights.
Dusan Ignjatovic, Director of the Office for Human and Minority Rights, said that this was the third generation of interns and that the said Office was the only institution engaged in internships at the national level. He also recalled that the earlier projects received good evaluations, and hoped that this year’s project would be evaluated even better.
“We implement a large number of projects, but we approach this one with the greatest pleasure. The internship is a good experience and the opportunity that should be used as much as possible, "said Mr. Ignjatovic and thanked the British Embassy and the Embassy of the Netherlands for their assistance, as well as the OSCE Mission to Serbia, which helped last year's youth internships.
