Bujanovac -25 HIV-positive persons have been registered in Pcinj district since 1995. This year, as part of the HIV testing campaign to mark the World AIDS Day, two new HIV carriers were registered in Bujanovac. According to Branislav Stojnev, MD, from the Institute of Public Health in Vranje (IPH), 7 people died from the nasty disease in the district.

As part of marking the World AIDS Day in Bujanovac, the services of voluntary counseling and testing for HIV were available to the citizens, which were provided in a separate room of the Cultural Center.
Apart from the IPH from Vranje, the Bujanovac Red Cross Office participated in the marking of that date, whose activists talked with the citizens, informed them and distributed the leaflets with the most important information.
