Medvedja – An international water polo tournament, which was organized by the water polo club “Vidra” from Leskovac and the municipality of Medvedja, was held in Sijarinska Spa. In addition to members of the Leskovac-based “Vidra” water polo club, participants in the tournament included members of the water polo clubs from Bor, Pirot and Skopje.

Thanks to the victories won against members of the water polo clubs from Pirot (26: 1) and Skopje (9: 8), the water polo club “Vidra” won the first place at the tournament.  

Nikola Stosic, the goal-keeper of the winning team, was named the best player of the tournament.

The tournament was opened by Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja, who also handed the cups to the best players.
