The Embassy of the United States of America in Belgrade has announced a call for the award of small grants for specific projects that support democracy and the development of democratic institutions in the Republic of Serbia.
The Embassy of the United States of America in Belgrade has announced a call for the award of small grants for specific projects that support democracy and the development of democratic institutions in the Republic of Serbia. The grants will primarily be awarded to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other non-profit organizations implementing their projects of outside Belgrade.
The maximum grant amount is 50,000 US dollars, while the minimum one is 10,000 US dollars.
The general goal of the program is to strengthen democracy, protect human rights and support economic development in the Republic of Serbia.
The thematic areas for submitting project proposals are the following:
– Participatory democracy;
– The rule of law;
– Fight against corruption;
– Human rights;
– Economic development.
The application deadline is May 24, 2020.
