Bujanovac – Tanzi Bilgic, the new Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Serbia, recently paid his first official visit to the municipality of Bujanovac.

During the meeting with the Turkish Ambassador, Mayor Saip Kamberi expressed interest in having a continued cooperation with the Turkish development agency TIKA. On that occasion, Mr. Kamberi pointed to concrete results of successful cooperation with the TIKA agency, which were achieved in the period from 2008 to 2012.

Ambassador Bilgic announced the possibility of concrete Turkish support, which would directly affect the development of the municipality of Bujanovac, but did not specify what kind of support it was. 

Willingness to promote bilateral cooperation was expressed at the meeting.

At his own request, the Turkish Ambassador, accompanied by his host Kamberi, visited the “Muharem Kadriju” primary school at Veliki Trnovac, in the municipality of Bujanovac, the construction of which was funded by the TIKA Agency.
