Bujanovac, Presevo – The two-day training in entrepreneurship, marketing and business management started, yesterday, at the “Vuk Karadzic” community center in Bujanovac.

Nemanja Gligorijevic, PhD,  Director of the Vranje-based “Yumco” Business Incubator Center  (BIC), who is the organizer of the educational program, points out that the BIC wished thus to provide assistance to beginners in business.

“All training beneficiaries, who after completing the training decide to start their own businesses, will be included in the system of business incubation that operates according to the principle of a virtual incubator. They will be able to count on the support of our Business Incubator Center (BIC), which was established in 2006, "Mr. Gligorijevic said.

The make-up of participants in the training course, which is part of the project "Strengthening the Infrastructure and Service Potential of the Business Incubator and Establishing a System of Support to the Development of Entrepreneurship of Vulnerable Groups," is different. Some of them only intend to acquire the basic knowledge and make the first business steps, while others are already experienced in private business.

According to Boban Stojanovic, PhD, the lecturer, who is a full professor at the Faculty of Economics in Nis, the training course consists of two parts.

"The first day is reserved for the basics of marketing and management and for getting more information on starting a business. It is also necessary to master the basics of preparing a business plan in order to be able to apply to funding sources. On the second day, participants in the training course will work individually on start-up loans according to the methodology of the Development Agency of Serbia, "Mr. Stojanovic said.

The project is co-financed by the Development Agency of Serbia’s funds and is worth nearly five million dinars. Since the project is inter-municipal in character, the municipalities of Bujanovac, Presevo, Vranjska Spa, Vladicin Han, Surdulica and Bosilegrad, in addition to the city of Vranje, are included in its implementation.
